Marine Results Racing at the Superyacht Challenge Antigua & St Barths Bucket

The Caribbean regatta season – from Antigua to St Barths – brings together some of the most established fleets, crews and classes in superyacht racing. In March 2026, the season centres on two of the standout events on the calendar: the Superyacht Challenge Antigua (03–08 March) and the St Barths Bucket (12–15 March).

As per previous years, several of these yachts are teams Marine Results will be racing with or racing against this season. The full fleets for both events can be explored via the official entry lists:

Marine Results is not attending these regattas as observers. This season, our team will be taking on key roles including helming, navigation, tactics and crew positions. It’s where our experience sits most naturally – not just knowing superyachts, but knowing how to race them, how to read them and how to get the best out of them when it matters.

Recent pedigree on the water

At the 2025 St Barths Bucket, Marine Results co-founder Ed Danby was at the helm of the 47m Royal Huisman Hyperion, which went on to secure overall victory in the Les Elegantes Class with two firsts and a second-place finish. While Hyperion will not be racing in 2026, the experience and lessons from that campaign continue to shape Marine Results’ approach on the water.

Racing across the fleet Marine Results’ involvement in the Caribbean regattas extends well beyond a single yacht. In recent seasons, team members have raced across multiple classes and platforms. One such yacht is Prevail, a 27.4m YYachts design by Bill Tripp delivered in 2021. Built in lightweight carbon composite, Prevail has cruised extensively in the Med and previously raced at the 2023 Ibiza JoySail, finishing second in class.

At the 2025 St Barths Bucket, Marine Results’ Lockie Stewart-Baker was navigator on Prevail, where she performed strongly in light air conditions and remained competitive as conditions evolved across the regatta. “Prevail is mainly used for family cruising, and the Bucket offers an opportunity to stretch her legs,” said Stewart-Baker, speaking to Boat International. “It’s always a well-organised, high-quality racing event. The emphasis is on having fun with a great guest and race crew – and seeing what the boat can really do.”

Looking ahead to March 2026

In March 2026, Marine Results will once again be racing across both regattas, with multiple team members onboard yachts throughout the fleets. At the Superyacht Challenge Antigua, the Marine Results team racing this season includes Jon, Ben, Lockie, Connor & Will, taking on navigation, crew and race-support roles across several yachts. Lockie will be onboard Prevail as navigator and Ben racing on Catalina.

At the St Barths Bucket, Marine Results team members including Jon, Ed, Paco and Lockie will again be racing from within the teams rather than observing from shore. Paco will be onboard M5 and final yacht line-ups are still being confirmed.

Dockside conversations

Between races, the dock is where the best conversations happen – reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones as owners, captains and crews look ahead to the season. From race-readiness to the realities of operating and caring for these yachts once the sails are down, it’s often those informal moments that shape what comes next.

Staying connected on the water

Racing is one part of how Marine Results stays connected to the yachts we support – technically, operationally and on the water. Being onboard keeps us close to the realities of performance, communication and decision-making at the highest level, and grounded in how these yachts are actually sailed, raced and run.
