CYCLADES CUP 2026 | ANTIPAROS, GREECE | 10–13 JUNE
This June, Jon, Lockie, Ben & Connor from the Marine Results team head to Antiparos for the Cyclades Cup, joining the fleet racing across some of the most beautiful sailing waters in the Mediterranean. Racing aboard Perseus – the 50m Perini Navi ketch that has carried both that name and the name Silencio over the course of a remarkable career – it’s a return to the kind of big-boat offshore sailing that sits at the heart of what we do.
A YACHT WITH HISTORY
Built by Perini Navi and delivered in 2001, this 50-metre ketch has made her mark on the racecourse. Renamed Silencio, she won the Cruiser Racer class at the Perini Navi Cup in both 2013 and 2018, as well as the Millennium Cup in 2015 and Class C at the Superyacht Cup Palma in 2018 – a year in which she was arguably the most consistently competitive 50-metre on the circuit. Marine Results were onboard for both 2018 victories, and the relationship with this yacht has continued across racing campaigns, technical service, and the complex logistics of mast stepping and unstepping that these programmes demand.
Now back sailing as Perseus, she returns to a regatta circuit we know well, with a team that knows her equally well.
The Cyclades Cup is now in its third edition, returning to Antiparos from 10 to 13 June as an invitation-only regatta where sporting integrity, owner community and authentic Greek identity come together in one of the region’s most compelling sailing destinations. Racing takes place in the waters between Antiparos and Paros – an area shaped by the strong Meltemi winds and increasingly recognised by the sailing community for its racing potential. Organised in collaboration with the Yacht Club of Greece and sanctioned by the SuperYacht Racing Association, it has quickly earned a serious reputation as one of the standout events on the Mediterranean calendar.
DOCKSIDE CONVERSATIONS
Between races, the dock is where the best conversations happen – reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones as owners, captains and crews look ahead to the season. From race-readiness to the realities of operating and caring for these yachts once the sails are down, it’s often those informal moments that shape what comes next.
STAYING CONNECTED ON THE WATER
Racing is one part of how Marine Results stays connected to the yachts we support – technically, operationally and on the water. Being onboard keeps us close to the realities of performance, communication and decision-making at the highest level, and grounded in how these yachts are actually sailed, raced and run.
