Marine Results has completed a refit this spring, on the 88m 289 ft superyacht Maltese Falcon.
The Perini Navi yacht’s revolutionary sailing system consists of three self-standing and rotating masts hosting 15 sails for a total sail area of 2,400 square meters (25,791 ft square. )
The Marine Results team carried out the removal, survey, supply and refit of a full set of Kevlar standing rigging. Seventy-two Kevlar stays in total were replaced. Further to this world’s leading superyacht rigging company removed and serviced all the sail control sheaves, replacing each central composite bearing with new.
Maltese Falcon has a maximum speed of eighteen knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 14 knots

Maltese Falcon’s innovative DynaRig sail design allows the masts to rotate depending on wind direction. Each bearing allows the mast above it to rotate under extreme load.
