OUR TEAM

The majority of the team at Marine Results International are experienced racing sailors and have managed rig programmes for high profile sailing programmes including America’s Cup and Volvo Ocean Race campaigns. Each of us has worked for many years in the marine industry, specialising in rig management from early in our careers.

Ed Danby

Ed is a project manager with 30 years of continuous progression in high-level yacht racing and marine consultancy.

Previously

Shore manager for the GBR America’s Cup Challenge 2003, which included all boat movements, commissioning, maintenance and logistics
Project Manager for Royal & Sun Alliance for the Jules Verne Trophy
Key role with Team Group 4 for the Transat Jacques Vabre
Completed two Whitbread Round the World Races, one with the late Sir Peter Blake on board Lion New Zealand
Competed in three America’s Cups
Crewed on Enza, breaking round the world record, skipped by Sir Peter Blake

In all these projects Ed has been involved in supervising the rigging programme.
